          The North American Budenny Society, or N.A.B.S., was founded in 2008 as a public interest group for the Budenny Horse in North America. N.A.B.S. made its public debut in 2009 at a Californian horse expo, with one of Zalatoy Ranch's Budenny mares for breed representation.
